Dan Hemmert is a Managing Director in CFGI’s Business Transformation practice, where he brings 13 years of experience helping finance organizations enhance strategy, streamline processes, and build high-performing teams. Dan partners with CFOs and finance leaders to design and execute transformation initiatives that align people, processes, and technology to deliver measurable business outcomes. His expertise spans finance strategy and assessment, target operating model design, integration and separation, close acceleration, process standardization, and forecasting and planning. He has worked across industries including pharmaceutical and life sciences, telecommunications, media and entertainment, technology, manufacturing, consumer products, and utilities.
Dan has deep experience across the finance transformation lifecycle, with a proven track record of leading assessments to identify gaps in processes, technology, data, and talent. He has developed and executed comprehensive transformation roadmaps, designed future-state operating models, and crafted finance technology and data strategies. Dan has also served as program leader on large-scale transformation efforts, overseeing cross-functional teams and managing finance workstreams for acquisitions and separations, including Day 1 readiness and post-close integration. His technology expertise includes Blackline, Tableau, Alteryx, Microsoft Power BI, OneStream, and Anaplan.
Prior to joining CFGI, Dan spent time in PwC’s Finance Transformation and Assurance practices. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Penn State University.
